Addresses occupational health aspects as a result of exposure to anaesthetic agents in hospital operating theatres, veterinary and dental surgeries. A follow-up survey was conducted to determine eight-hour time weighted average personal exposures for the nursing staff as well as the person administering the anaesthetics. This was to establish whether the recommended control measures were adequate to maintain exposures below the target exposure standards.
