The CIPD Managing Conflict at Work survey gives an insight into the likely impact of new legislation, as well as how successful employers are at managing workplace conflict through their existing policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures and training interventions. A key finding from the research is that a significant amount of conflict in the workplace results from personal behaviour. This survey also took an in-depth look at bullying/harassment at work - a common cause of workplace conflict and one of the most difficult to manage.
