This project was undertaken as part of the Action Plan to provide the ASCC with a report on ten chemicals which are toxic and have potentially serious health effects in a range of Australian industries. The chemicals chosen were: + isocyanates + welding fumes + cytotoxic drugs + styrene + chromium (VI) compounds + methyl bromide + wood dust + trichloroethylene + silica dust + methyl methacrylate + acrylates generally.
