This research forms the first part of a two-phase Health and Safety Executive (HSE) commissioned project. The purpose of the first phase of the project was to systematically review the existing research base, and to define a set of criteria of what constitutes good practice in stress prevention and management within organisations. The intentions were for the findings from this report to inform and guide the second phase of this project that aims to identify beacons of excellence in stress prevention and management and actual organisational good practice.
