Aims to provide an intergrated analysis of the OH&S problem, bringing the various social science, medical, ergonomic and other perspectives on occupational health together. Highlights the immensity of management and worker behaviour which has a critical bearing on OHS. Aims to assist students develop a better understanding of how and why OH&S problems arise; how governments, employers, unions, workers themselves and other interested parties have attempted to deal with them; and how more effective OHS programmes and policies can be developed.
