States ways to prevent or minimise exposure to risk due to the handling of people that can cause or aggravate work related musculoskeletal disorders. It applies to any workplace activity requiring the use of force by a person to hold, support, transfer, or restrain another person at a workplace.
This code of practice has been amended to be consistent with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011. The changes to these codes of practice are minor and ensure the continued efficient and effective operation of Queensland's health and safety arrangements.
