The Australian Quality of Working Life Survey is a nationwide household survey conducted in November 2002, which reflects the opinions of 1,032 Australian employees aged 15 and over. The main focus of the survey was to examine the attitudes of employees towards their
working life. To do this, respondents were asked their views on 16 quality of working life measures in relation to their current main job. The analysis in this paper centres on two occupational groups: professionals and intermediate clerical, sales and service workers.
