This report presents the results of a project that investigated the role of design issues in work-related injury. The focus of the research was on workplace incidents, with work-related incidents involving motor vehicle, aircraft or train crashes, and medical misadventure, being excluded. Serious and fatal injuries were examined in preference to less serious injuries.
