The project aimed to provide culturally appropriate information about OHS issues, based on a community development model, to Cambodian and Vietnamese farm workers. These farm workers gained: - awareness about OHS&W issues and individuals responsibilities regarding the welfare and well-being of their children while at the workplace - knowledge about the consequences of not taking legal responsibilities - skills and confidence to utilise other services such as child care, before/after school care and family day care. A culturally appropriate model was developed in partnership with the Cambodian Community members and employers which will be transferable to other cultural groups. Equitable services have been provided to disadvantaged community groups. Some information contained in the report is in Cambodian and Vietnamese.
