Provides guidance to the home care industry on the planning and delivery of services to clients and their carers to achieve a safe and healthy environment for everyone involved. It covers services provided by paid employees and volunteers working in the home and in the community (eg. shopping, escorting). The home care services covered are home maintenance, delivered meals (Meals on Wheels), respite, attendant care, personal care, home care and travel, including escorting as part of these services to clients.
