This code is intended for designers, manufacturers and users of food spray drying plant and equipment used in the dairy industry. It applies to all new and existing:- - Spray drying plant including two-stage dryers with integrated fluidised beds and 'Filtermat' dryers; - Fluidised bed dryers and other powder handling equipment; - Dust collection equipment; - Bulk storage facilities including silos and bins used to hold dry powder; - Ducting; and - Bag sealing and shrink wrapping equipment.
