Abstract:
Examines the psychosocial factors associated with site identification, assessment and remediation in two broad categories: Psychological Factors which are those that primarily relate to the emotional well-being of residents as individuals, and Social Factors, which primarily relate to the well-being of residents as members of a community. A Community Capacity Approach provides concrete strategies for the development of public involvement plans that utilise a community capacity approach to address these psychosocial factors.
