Aims to provide guidance to assist workers in the amenity tree industry comply with health and safety legislation in Victoria. Covers all tree work except for commercial forestry and maintenance of commercial fruit trees. Trimming trees in parks, removing branches near houses, clearing fallen trees after storms, planting, cabling and bracing are all examples of amenity tree working industry to find and fix health and safety problems. It provides guidance on specific hazards associated with harvesting, extraction, loading and transport operations, and the common hazards in all forest operations. Includes arborists, tree loppers, landscapers and council workers.
