This report describes the responses provided by 281 Australain work exposures study participants categorised as working in the manufacturing industry. The most common carcinogens to which the workers were exsposed were diesel engine exhaust, chromium VI, tobacco smoke, nickel, solar UV radiation and wood dust.  Common control measures are outlined.
