A summary report of research in collaboration with the Mental Health Working Group: National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Agency (NOPSEMA), Offshore Alliance (Maritime Union Australia and Australian Workers Union), and the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA). This report outlines findings regarding the state of mental health and wellbeing, and workplace experiences of offshore workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The findings in this report illustrate how the offshore workforce is coping overall, identify the potential impact of Covid-19 restrictions, and provide insights into the ways in which some of the mental health implications of the current situation can be addressed.
