This report provides an outline of the methodology by which the hazard control solutions were derived and an outline of the types of hazards associated with work in the hospitality industry. Finally, the report contains a series of strategies which have been developed for controlling the hazards which were identified during the audit process. Hazards covered include: Slips, trips and falls; Manual handling during bed-making; Manual handling during cleaning bathrooms; Exposure to needles; Moving trolleys; Handling glasses; and Knife work.
