Outlines the labour force problems that exist because of our ongoing skills and labour shortages in some sectors and our ageing population. National Disability Services (NDS) estimates that disability employment can fill about 15% of the projected shortfall in the labour force caused by the ageing of the population. This report encourages employers to become more informed about disability and to think strategically to secure a good supply of motivated and skilled staff, as well as opening the door to new business opportunities.
